REMARKS
Husband, the late Mr. Lawrence Jack, Sgt H.K.V.D.C., died whilst a P.W.0. on 22.8.42. Cause of death- Diphtheria. Mrs. Jack is receiving War Widow Pension 37/- a week.
Husband, the late G.G.N. Tinson, M.C., ex- Officer Commanding Auxiliary Communications Corps, was killed in action on 19.12.41. Mrs. Tinson is receiving a total disablement pension of £2-5-0 a week.
Husband, the late Mr. E.L. Starling, member of the Auxiliary Quartering Corps, died of mal- nutrition in Stanley Camp on 12.2.44. Apart from assistance from the W.M.F., she receives also £1-2-6 weekly, disability pension, plus Widows Pension of £1.15.0 weekly.
Husband, J.M. Jack, member of H.K.V.D.C., died as a P.O.W. in Osaka Camp, Japan, on 15.9.44. Cause of death Chronic peritonitis and beri-beri. Mrs. Jack is in receipt of a widow pension of £8-13-8d (approx.) weekly.
Husband, Arthur Watson, member of the H.K.R.N.V.R died as the result of the sinking of the "Lisbon Maru" on or about 1.10.42. Mrs. Watson has
a part time job and is in receipt of a Widow Pension (not specified). This grant is used for her son's education.

Mr. Lane was called up on 8.12.41 as Depot Commander, Rescue and Demolition Corps. On 25.12.41 he was captured by the Japanese and subsequently interned at Stanley. Has been incapacitated through internment.
